Temple Highlights

This temple is situated at Vidya Nagar, Kodigenahalli Village on the Hindupur Madakasira main road. The temple is at a distance of about 5 KM from Hindupur Bus Stand.

The Temple Bhoomi Pooja was performed on 26th January 1998.

The Temple was inaugurated on 13th May 2011 by eminent Sai Devotee Shri.V.P.Rangaswamy of Hindupur.

The Temple is built on a spacious 25 cents of land out of which 10 cents of land donated by Sri.V.P.Rangaswamy of Hindupur, 11 cents was allotted by the local Village Panchayat, 4 cents of land was purchased by the Trust Members.

This temple is built with the help of local textile mill employees Sri.R.P.Linga Reddy. Sri.R.P.Linga Reddy is taking care of the overall development and improvement of the temple.

The Temple opens at 05:30 AM with the Morning Kakad Aarti & closes at night 9:30 PM after the Shej Aarti.  

A Beautiful Marble Idol of Shirdi Saibaba about 4 1/2 ft is placed in the centre.  A Panchaloha Idol of Sai Baba about 3 ½ feet is used for Pallakki Utsav on Thursday’s and other festive occasions. Marble Padukas are present in front of the Saibaba Idol.

A Marble Tortoise is present at the centre of the Mandir facing the Saibaba Idol.

Marble Idol of Nandi is present outside the Mandir facing the main Saibaba Idol as in Shirdi.

A Homa Sthal is present within the temple premises and is used for performing Homam’s during festivals.

Black Stone Idol of Ganesha and Marble Idol of Dattatreya are present at the entrance of the Mandir.

  • Daily “Jala Abhishekam” is performed to the Mable Idol of Saibaba from 6 AM to 7 AM.

  • On Thursday’s and other festivals, Panchamruta Abhishekam is performed from 6 AM to 7 AM. The Seva Amount is Rs.216/-.

  • Palanquin Procession is held on every Thursday from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. This is followed by Sai Bhajans from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

  • On Thursday’s Maha Prasadam is distributed to all the Sai Devotees who visit the temple after the Shej Aarti at 9:30 PM.

Large Scale Celebration of festivals:

  1. Temple Anniversary on 13th May of every year.

  2. Ugadi – Procession throughout the village and Annadanam.

  3. Guru Poornima – Procession throughout the village and Annadanam.

  4. Vijayadashmi – Bhiksha Joli Programme is held 1 week prior to the festival and the food grains and money collected will be used for the Annadanam.  Pancha Loha Idol of Saibaba is taken in procession to Shami Vriksha and brought back.

Alight at Hindupur Bus Stand. Take a Bus/Auto from Hindupur to Kodigenahalli Village. Travel for about 5 KMS on the Hindupur-Madakasira Main Road. Alight near Blind School. The temple is at a distance of about 5 Minutes walk from the Blind School. Plenty of Buses/Autos are available from Hindupur Bus Stand.
